As a healthcare executive whose career has spanned the Hospital, Pharmacy, Therapy, Home Health, and Long-Term Care arenas, I’ve discovered that I’m a devoted clinician with an enthusiastic passion for technology.  Over the years, it’s been my dream to help therapists provide the best possible care, while developing the tools needed to navigate a more demanding healthcare world.  With many years of "user" experience on multiple software systems, I’m happy to have found a home with Innova - where my knowledge can help enhance the therapist experience, and positively impact standards of care.

My career began as a registered Pharmacist with Mease Hospital, implementing clinical programs.  I was soon recruited away by a tech company developing solutions for the support of Hospital ancillary programs, such as Pharmacy and Lab.  After several years and many frequent flier miles, I eventually onboarded systems for Hospital Data Services in over 300 Hospitals around the country.

Having started my family with a beautiful daughter and filled with hopes of staying a little closer to home, I later accepted an executive position with a national Pharmacy provider called Home Care services that specialized in High-Risk Maternity Management.  Eventually I was asked to join the executive leadership team of Covenant Care, a national Long Term Care organization with divisions in Home Health, Pharmacy and Therapy services, as well as Skilled Nursing.  With this opportunity, I gained significant experience in all aspects of elder care and a growing appreciation for the challenges facing each of those settings. In time, I also realized that long term care was woefully behind in technology, and desperate for new solutions.

In the span of my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some good systems, but always believed there could… and should be better options.  I’ve found that the best solutions usually come through the voice of the customer.  With Innova, I’m in a position to facilitate that important dialogue.  What’s clear thus far, is that there’s a significant need for a better EHR solution in senior care therapy, and a great deal of potential success for innova, its customers, and most importantly... patients.  Innova Strong!
